The BUS, which runs island wide and most hours of the day, is
reasonably priced and a great way to get around and see the
island. There are taxicabs galore, especially around the base and
downtown. Also, there are a number of limosine services if you prefer
to be pampered in style.

Although there are not many right-of-way areas on all major roads
for bicyclists, most of the housing areas around Pearl Harbor are well within
biking distance to base and, with very little inclement weather, a popular
choice for many service members. Many families find it easy to
survive as a "one-car family".
