If you experience an emergency while enroute to your new duty
station you can contact any chapter of the American Red Cross for assistance to
notify your family and/or your destination command. If your emergency requires
financial assistance contact the nearest Red Cross, Navy-Marine Corps Relief
Society, Army Emergency Relief, or Air Force Aide Society. You may also contact
your nearest Fleet and Family Support Center for information and referral
services. There are many people within the military community to help and
support you in a time of need, so do not hesitate to ask.During transit you may
contact your nearest military installation for help.
