There are a variety of educational opportunities on the Island of
O'ahu to include State and Community Colleges, private universities,
vocational/technical schools, business/computer training schools and
others. Your Welcome Aboard packet has a listing of the major
colleges and universities in the state. Your receiving command is responsible
for assigning a sponsor to assist you in your relocation and send you a Welcome
Aboard packet. If you have not been assigned a sponsor contact your receiving
command or your local Relocation Assistance Counselor at the Navy Fleet and
Family Support Center. Please note that some of these institutes of higher
learning conduct classes on base at Navy College. See the website
