Members of the Armed Forces are exempt from acquiring Maryland
driver's license if they have a valid driver's license from the service members
state of domicile. Spouses are supposed to get a MD driver's license
if they work in the state.
Military personnel do not need to re-register
their car if the car is registered in their home state.
To register a
vehicle on base you must have your registration and identification cards, a
valid drivers license and proof of insurance. Car decals are done
from 7:30 A.M.-3:45 P.M., M-F at Gate 1 and 7:30 A.M.-5:30 P.M., M-F at Gate
2. You may also do all of the above at Webster Field, Building
8133. Decals: 7:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M., M-F.
