PRE AND POST-DEPLOYMENT
At the unit's request, a
representative from Community Services will conduct briefings for Marines and
Marine families to help them prepare for and cope with the changes and
difficulties of deployment. Materials such as checklists and handouts
will be provided to families that will help beter prepare for
deployment. Post-deployment briefings are available on how to prepare
all family members for the Marine's return.
Spouse's Support
Groups
Your Community Services may provide support groups for military
spouses during times of deployment, ongoing groups and workshops which address
everyday issues of parenting, and the military family lifestyle.
REUNION
WORKSHOPS
Communiy Services will conduct pre-reunion workshops that will
describe what to expect during a homecoming and provide tips that will help
families get their relationships back to normal as quickly as possible.
