Single members should remember that when in a TDY status or
making a PCS move, if military members cannot be physically present to handle
numerous aspects of the relocation process, the person handling these matters
must have a power of attorney,or letter of autorization enabling this individual
to act in the service member's behalf. Your Military Support Office
can provide information and draw up this document for you. A copy of
the document must be provided to the Personal Property Office. If
attending Dive school and assigned to Barracks, please check with origin Base
for NTS entitlement.
If your family is living in one area and you the
service member live in a different area, contact the Customer Support Desk for
information on entitlements, travel allowances, etc.
