The Career Focus program offers workshops on resume writing, networking, interviewing and negotiation techniques, a file of current job openings in the local community, employment counseling, resume review and employment referrals. Other resources include a reference library on career/employment material and computers which can be used by customers to research job openings nationwide and prepare resumes, federal employment applications and cover letters. Many private sector businesses send job announcements to the Career Focus Program at the Family Support Center. The Career Focus Program enhances the employability and marketability of Air Force military members and their spouses, to reduce their time out of the labor workforce during relocation or after separation.
