GROUND TRANSPORTATION - Airport Shuttle provides door-to-door
service 24 hours daily to most of Southeastern Virginia. For more

Car Agencies, as well as Taxi Service, are also available. Long-Term Parking
costs $0.75 per hour; maximum of $5.00 per day. Short-Term Parking is $1.00 per

TRT (Tidewater Regional
Transport) has one bus, #37, that regularly serves NAS Oceana. There
is a scheduled stop near the galley and one just off base behind the
commissary. The bus runs hourly from about 0700 to about
2330. See a Fleet and Family Support Center Relocation or Information
and Referral Specialist or any TRT bus for a timetable. Bus #37
connects NAS Oceana with Lynnhaven Mall, the Oceanfront, and Dam
Neck. It also connects with other TRT lines. The fare is
$1.50 and multiple ride discount tickets are available at ITT and many area
businesses.
MWR provides a free on base shuttle, connecting frequently
accessed areas of the base including medical, dental, bowling center, AIMD and
others. It runs from about 0600 to about 1400
