Division wide screeings are conducted for the purpose of
identifying children who are in need of special eduation and related
services.
Students with disabilities attend neighborhood or zoned schools
at all levels. Students may apply to the alternative sites, magnet
centers, and academy programs within the city. Services are provided
along a full continuum of placement options based upon the decision of the
Individualized Evaluation Plan.
