listings. Ask about the Rental Partnership Program (RPP), which is
designed to provide affordable rentals, often without a security deposit, lease
negotiations or arbitration. Services are available to married
personnel, their families, and single personnel.
The housing market
surrounding Northwest is plentiful and includes areas of Virginia and North
Carolina. Many Northwest personnel live in Chesapeake (Hickory, Deep
Creek, Great Bridge, Greenbrier), Virginia Beach (Kempsville, Woods Corner,
Princess Anne), Norfolk, and the North Carolina towns of Moyock, Currituck,
Camden, South Mills and Elizabeth City. The average commute to
Northwest is about 30 minutes, so be sure to factor this into your
expenses.
