The Onslow Women's shelter is a safe-haven for victims of domestic violence.  A brand new 6,000-square-foot facility opened June 1, 2004.  

Days & Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00-5:00 (business office)
              24 hour crisis line
              24 hour shelter
              24 hour children's crisis line

Programs:     No cost
              24 hour crisis intervention
              Counseling with battered women and victims of sexual abuse
              Community education/public speaking
              Shelter, support groups
              Court advocacy, hospital advocacy
              Children's advocacy
              Counseling and group sessions with children who have been victimized and/or traumatized as a result of familial situations and circumstances.
              Sexual Assault and rape prevention

Battered Women Support Group - Thur, 5:30-7:00pm, free child care available
Women's Sexual Assault Group - Wed, 5:00-6:30pm
Healthy Relationships Teenage Curriculum, Onslow County Schools
Children's Support Group
Children's Art Therapy Group
Project Individual Child
Hispanic Outreach Program
Volunteer Recruitment Training Program
