A successful deployment for Navy families takes planning, preparation, information, understanding, commitment and dedication to the family as well as to the mission of the Navy.  Frequent deployments are a way of life in the military.  Many of the family issues that need to be resolved during a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) apply to deployments and frequent separations.  Be proactive and visit your installation's Fleet & Family Support Center for valuable information on programs that can benefit you and your family before, during, and after a deployment/separation.

The Fleet and Family Support Center Deployment programs and services:

- Pre-Deployment services (pre-deployment checklists, deployment survival kits, workshops for spouses, children/dads and couples)
- Emotional Stages of Deployment programs for Spouses and Couples
- Mid-Deployment workshops for spouses and children
- Return & Reunion workshops for spouses and children
- Deployment videos on Pre-Deployment, Return/Reunion and Single Sailors (available for check-out)
