Citizens Area Transit, or CAT began serving the citizens of Clark
County in December 1992. In just under nine years, ridership has grown from 14.9
million riders in 1993 to over 50 million riders in 2001 - catapulting CAT to
the 27th largest bus system in the nation. The system consists of 49 routes
served by 305 buses, carrying close to 150,000 passengers everyday in the
greater Las Vegas Valley. Service enhancements are done every 6 months, so make
sure to check back with us to find the latest route and schedule
changes.
