Employment
opportunities in the Las Vegas area are better than the national average as a
rule. Our largest employers are in the gaming industry
(hotels/casinos). Second largest area of employment is in retail
sales. Clark County School District is a large employer
also. During a recent survey, 70 percent of military spouses surveyed
said they found a job within three months of arrival to Nellis and in a
occupation area they wanted.
