This is available to any couple considering
marriage, planning marriage, married, or thinking of separating but want to give
it another chance.

New Parent Support Program
Consults
individuals/couples on reproductive health, pregnancy, infant, child and family
health. Also, supports family in all areas of daily living through
education, information and referral. Helps provide professional
in-services and education. Services are for single parents, new
families, couples, and established families.
Beginning a family is one of
life's biggest decisions.
Being a parent is one of life's most important
challenges.
Unfortunately, babies do not come with an instruction
manual. Everyone has questions on how to be a good parent, especially
with the first baby. Education/Information are available
for: pregnancy/parental concerns and care, planning for baby's
arrival, post-delivery recovery care/concerns, newborn baby care, bonding with
your baby, family adjustments to new members, breast feeding/bottle feeding,
growth and development concerns, parenting skills for babies/children, help and
referrals to appropriate agencies (as needed) for special needs, dealing with
parental stresses (colic, sleeping, crying, etc.), health care needs, and safety
issues.

Services are
available to ALL active duty military personnel and dependants at NO
CHARGE.
Preparation For Parenthood
A free 5 week course for
expectant parents. Topic include budgeting for a new baby, caring for
a newborn, breast feeding/bottle feeding, child safety, infant CPR, and child
development. Location: Family Support Center,
