Getting married before you PCS? Congratulations! Remember, you must inform your commander and follow the procedures exactly as you are given them. The military will only pay for travel and housing of your spouse if you follow the proper procedures.
When you reach Nellis after duty hours, go directly to the 24 hour arrival point in the Lodging Office to sign in. If you arrive during normal duty hours, go directly to your unit. Your unit will schedule you for an MPF/Finance inproccessing appointment.
Remember - If you want to use the Permissive House Hunting benefit, you must sign in first. Your unit is the granting authority for the Permissive House Hunting Benefit.
If married, your spouse is invited to attend the Right Start Orientation Program you will be scheduled for. It includes a briefing on Nellis AFB and Information Fair.
