The Rental Partnership Program allows military members to receive
discounted rental prices at certain apartment complexes. The
participating apartment complexes also waive the security deposit,
application fee, income requirement and credit checks. Contact the
Housing Office for additional information.
Homes rentals are also available but very limited. The
Washington Post's classified section has daily and weekly listings.
OFF-BASE HOUSING AVERAGE RENTAL RATES
Apartments, Condos, Townhomes and Mobile homes rental rates vary from one county/city to the next.
The average rates are:
lBR: $750 - 1200
2BR: $900 - $1300
3BR: $1200 -$2000
4BR: $1400 -$2600
Most rentals require security deposits, which are usually one month's
rent. Have your sponsor send you a local Apartment or Home
Shopper's Guide. If you have computer access, surf the

Pet Deposit Fees:
Many apartment complexes charge a non-refundable pet fee plus $15 to $25 extra per month for each pet.
