The
New Parent Support Team located at the National Naval Medical Center
provides supportive and caring service to expectant parents and new
parents who have children under the age of 4 months.
The team was established to help new parents cope with the demands of
military life, increase parenting skills & knowledge,and to enhance
the lives of newborns and military children.
The New Parent support Team falls under the auspices of the Family
Advocacy Program at the Fleet & Family Support Center at Naval
Station Washington.
Various Parenting classes are also offered at the Fleet & Family Support Center.
