Active
duty personnel are entitled to full, free dental care at military
dental clinics and hospitals throughout the National Capital Region.
There are no dental services for family members on local military
installations. Dental care for family members is available through the
United Concordia Family Member Dental Plan. The service member must
obtain the paperwork for the dental plan through his/her local
personnel offices to register for the program. Activation may take as
long as 1-2 months so register soon after arriving to the area. United
Concordia can assist you with identifying dental providers in the area
who accept the Family Member Dental Plan
Retired personnel are also entitled to dental care on space available basis.
