Naval Support Activity Washington Child Development Program provides care for children of active duty military and DoD civilians, ages 6 weeks through 5 years of age.  Full quality developmental programs are offered for children 6 weeks through 5 years in a new state-of-the art facility for 300 children.

A Summer Camp for children ages 5 to 12 is offered at Bellevue Navy Housing.

Field trips are provided at both the summer camp for youth and at the Child Development Center for pre-schoolers.

Hourly care is generally available by making a same day reservation after 0800. A caring and highly professional staff implement planned activities which stimulate the emotional, social, physical, and intellectual growth of the whole child.

Upon First Visit:

Parents must complete an application process in order to enroll their children in the Child Care Program. Application packets and information are available through the Regional Child Care Resource and Referral office. Contact the RCCRR to request a packet or to determine child care rates, fees, hours of operation, current waiting lists, and indication of priority status. Other items needed to complete the registration process include the following: ID card, current shot records, birth certificate, health assessment, Family Care Plan (Single Parents and Dual Military Couples), and recent Earning and Leave statement.  Complete registration card with parents telephone numbers, and 3 emergency contacts, USDA food Form and Income Form, and Parent/Center agreement.Many of the on-base Home Care Providers provide before & after school child care.  To obtain a listing of Home Care Providers contact Naval Support Activity Washington Regional Child Care Resource and Referral at (202)433-3055 or Bolling Air Force Base Child Care Center at (202) 767-2890/0951.  Within the civilian community a list of licensed Day Care Providers can be obtained through the Department of Social Services or County Offices for Children.
