NAVY COLLEGE OFFICE (NCO)
The Navy College Office (NCO) offers tuition assistance to active duty
members pursuing further education from high school through the
doctoral level. They provide educational counseling and information
about local colleges and universities,SOCNAV,distance learning,
financial aid and testing. NCO also gives assistance and technical
guidance to military educational service officers (ESOs) and career
counselors. For servicemembers pursuing GED's or continuing education

PURSUING THE GED
For family members pursuing General Education Diplomas (GED) there are
various programs and services available in the National Capitol Region.

GED TESTING CENTER Location: 601 15th Street, NE,
Washington, D.C. 20002 Telephone: (202) 724-4209
Provides scheduling and administration of the GED
test. Also, gives the test in Spanish, Braille, Large Print
and Audio Cassette. The cost is $9.00. Test by
appointment.
ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL):
