Idaho is a rural state with very little public transportation.
The Boise Air Terminal has most major airlines fly into it. Taxi's from the
Boise Air Terminal to Mountain Home AFB is very expensive, if possible make
arrangements with your sponsor to pick you up. Mountain Home area is very
restrictive with no local bus service and limited taxi service. No AMTRAK
service is available in Mountain Home or Boise. A bus service
terminal (GreyHound) is available in Mountain Home. See Mountain Home

and running, base personnel are re-imbursed for this service.
