All schools receiving Federal education funding are required to
offer basic special education courses. All schools in Valdosta and
Lowndes County meet the minimum requirements. Parents whose school-aged children
are enrolled in the Special Needs Identification and Coordination (SNIC) process
should contact their base Family Advocacy Officer (FAO) when orders are
received. The member's losing FAO will coordinate with the Moody FAO
for questions concerning availability of special needs programs.
