The Family Advocacy Program is established by Air Force
Instruction 40-301. It serves military active duty members and their
families who are experiencing issues related to family maltreatment and special
medical or educational needs.
Family Advocacy is staffed by professional
active duty, civilian and contract personnel with master's degrees in Social
Work and other related fields. Another integral member is the Family
Advocacy Nurse Specialist who works with first time parents.
