second vehicle within CONUS. The new regulation states that a second

the:

needs to be relocated to the new duty station.
b. The member and dependents
travel one time in one POV.
c. The cost of shipment and commercial
transportation of the POV to be shipped does not exceed the costs of MALT plus
per diem for driving two POV's to the new duty station.
d. The member is
financially responsible for all excess costs or additional expenses associated
with the transportation of the second vehicle.
e. The member is responsible
for arranging for shipment of a second vehicle.
Overseas shipping of a
car is processed through Los Angeles. See contact-links for more information.
