5th Services and Minot AFB offers a wide variety of activities and some of the best facilities in the Air Force.

J. R. Rockers is a combination Sports caf and the Enlisted club.  The sports caf offers a contemporary menu with large portions and great taste.  The recent addition of the multi-purpose room the "Top of the Rock" allows additional seating during busy times and is available for smaller functions.

Doolittle Center provides quality programs for club members and their guests.  A hub of activity, most special functions, holiday parities and recurring meetings are held in this conference center setting.  An innovative all ranks lunch program Monday through Friday, champagne brunch, A Touch of Class every month, and Ground Zero lounge menu highlight the food operation.

The Rough Rider Bowling Center has 22 lanes and is open to serve you 12 months a year.  Lights and strikes remains a popular weekend program and compliments the birthday package offered on Saturdays.  Kelly's Place is a full service snack bar; the price is right any day of the week.

The Rough Rider Golf Course is a 9-hole course, generaly open for business April through September.  During the winter months, golfers stay conditioned with the indoor golf simulator.  A limited snack bar is available for golfers on the go.

The Skills development Center offers a variety of classes year round, offering customers opportunities to learn new skills from painting to framing.  The laser engraver, computerized matte cutter and embroidery machine continue to meet customer needs.

Outdoor activities are a popular way to spend your time at Minot AFB.  Outdoor Recreation provides many unique opportunities such as jet skiing, indoor archery range, archery/rifle simulator, climbing wall, snowmobiling, all terrain vehicles, and the best selection of boat and camper rentals found anywhere in the local area.  UPS also operates out of the facility.  The operation has many community components including the indoor and outdoor pools, Fam Camp, Bud Ebert Park, RV storage lot, paintball field, vehicle resale lot, and garden plots.  A variety of items are available for rental including down hill and cross-country skis, snow blades, and ice skates to keep away the cabin fever.

Treasure Island is a new indoor Fun Center with batting cages, climbing wall, mini golf and skateboard area along with a small snack bar.

The Youth Center is the largest in the Air Force. The Community Center is key to providing quality of life for the Minot Air Force Base community.  In addition to two rooms for special groups and squadron meetings, this family center includes Rough Riders, cyber caf, children's Play land.  The recent upgrade project expanded the cyber caf to 24 computers, created a coffee lounge, and merged the sub to the pizza operation.  With a focus on airmen, the staff provides recreational activities called "Dorm Escapes".  This program targets 18 to 21 year old dorm residents.  Activities include Christmas Eve party, Easter Egg money hunt, pool tournaments, table tennis club, performing arts, and LAN parties.  The Cyber Caf is primarily for airmen and spouses of deployed personnel.  All computers have internet capabilities and provide dorm residents a comfortable place to "surf the net".  Recent additions to the Cyber Caf include 12 additional computers, Video games, an X-Box, Nintendo Game Cube, and two Sony Play Stations.  The Cyber Caf has no service charge for use, making this a very popular program.  A Talent Show held at the base theater in December entertained over 250 guests who thoroughly enjoyed 14 performers.
