Comments:
The
Family Readiness Center,located in Bldg 727, became the first Joint Family
Readinss Center in the Department of Defense and was recognized for
"Unprecedented vision and resourcefulness in establishing and operating the
first Joint Family Readiness Center by the Assistant Secretary of Defense
(Reserve Affairs). In addition to Family Support function the Center is also the
location of the Retiree Activities Office. As part of the Joint Service funtion
the Minnesota National Guard has a full-time representative in the Center as of
1 May 03.
