The Navy College Program, NCP, provides opportunities to Sailors to earn college degrees by providing academic credit for Navy training, work experience, and off-duty education.

Through Navy College Offices you can reach your educational goals while on active duty. Here are some of the ways they can assist:  
Analyze and define your education goals and capabilities
Review your previous college work and plan your future education and training
Select courses and programs you will need to succeed
Enter a suitable college, university, or technical training school, either off base or aboard ship
Receive financial aid
Obtain college credit for Navy training and experience
Earn credit-by-examination
Obtain and review your transcript (SMART)
Review and discuss your rating roadmap

Navy College onboard NAS Meridian offers classes on-base through 2 local community college, Meridian Community College (MCC) and East Mississippi Community College (EMCC).  See "Contacts" for more information.
