The 305th Medical Group Ambulatory Health Care Clinic (AHCC), located behind the McGuire AFB Base Exchange complex, 3458 Neely Rd, provides Outpatient care.
INPATIENT SERVICES - AHCC has joined Virtua Memorial Hospital of Burlington County in an agreement to provide INPATIENT military health care in a civilian hospital. Dependents will receive inpatient care at Virtua Memorial Hospital by Virtua or military physicians. All costs for active-duty military members will be covered by the military. There is no charge for INPATIENT care for family members of active- duty military. Please check with the Health Benefits Advisory Office at the AHCC for current information on cost.
This new agreement will allow military members and beneficiaries to have access to a first-class modern facility and all the support services that a large, comprehensive hospital can provide.
Virtua Memorial Hospital is a 433-bed community hospital with an intensive care unit and cardiac care unit. It is affiliated with Fox Chase Cancer Center, one of 27 specially designated cancer institutes in the country. This affiliation allows military patients to have access to the latest in cancer research, prevention and treatment.
Virtua Memorial Hospital has a new maternity unit for use by Walson beneficiaries. Virtua Memorial Hospital is located in Mt. Holly - a 20 to 25 minute drive from base.
TRICARE benefits have recently undergone significant changes, including new healthcare options.
