A "Local Job Search Workshop" is held regularly at the
Family Support Center, presented by the Career Focus Program. This class
provides information on local area employers actively seeking employees. For
current Job Search, Local Recruitments, or other programs, you may access the
current FSC class schedules from the McGuire Home Page (see Web address this
section). A variety of workshops on resume-writing, interview skills,
local employer recruitment sessions are presented. Career counseling
is available. Listings of local job openings and computer bulletin
boards of employment opportunities locally and worldwide are accessible in the
FSC's Computer Resource Room.
The Transition Assistance Program offers
access to Federal, state and US-wide computer job boards. Transition
Assistance Seminar and Individualized Transition Planning are available. A
variety of employment-related computer is software available in the FSC's
Computer Resource Room.
New Jersey State Job Service offers a
computerized JOB BANK for New Jersey, individual benefits and employment
counseling services for transitioning military and veterans.Good news for job
