McGuire is home to two large Child Development Centers; one is
new, the other, renovated and enlarged within the last year. The
CDC's offer child care from as early as 6 weeks; have a pre-school program; and
Family Day Care program. Both Centers are located on the main base,
and are approximately three blocks distance apart.
The newly renovated Youth
Activities Center offers many varied programs; to include the School Age Program
(including Before and After School care); sports and recreation
programs. The Youth Center is located within the Falcon Courts North
housing area on base.Youth Services facilitate Before and After School Age
programs on base. There is very little, if any, wait time. These programs are
open to ages 6-12. The Child Development Center offers school age programs for
ages infant -5 years.
