Flying Commercially to McGuire - The Airports that are located in the McGuire Area are: Philadelphia, PA; Newark, NJ; and Atlantic City, NJ. Philadelphia is the most commonly used airport; however not always the most economical if you are planning on paying for your own flights in the future.
NJ Transit - North East Corridor Railway. It is not uncommon for individuals to utilize the railway system here in NJ for transportation.
Arrival at McGuire -
Families - Go to Lodging Office (All American Inn, Bldg 2712) to check in. They will provide general information and directions to the Temporary Lodging Facility. Contact your sponsor and/or your squadron's orderly room during duty hours (0745-1630) to let them know you have arrived.
Single AF members - If you arrive during the duty day, contact your sponsor and your unit's orderly room to let them know you have arrived. They and/or your unit's first sergeant will assist you in procuring a room in the squadron dormitory. If you arrive after duty hours (0745-1630 M-F), go to the Billeting Office (All American Inn, Bldg 2712), and they will provide a VAQ/VOQ room for the night or weekend.
All - When you expend your permissive TDY or personal leave, contact Customer Service/INTRO Manager at the Military Personnel Flight (CBPO), Bldg 2114, 754-2516/3546 for information about in-processing.
No Sponsor? - If you do not have a sponsor and would like one, contact your the INTRO Program Manager, 754-2516/3546. Each squadron has "floating" sponsors who will be happy to greet you and show you around.
Lost? Confused? Arrival Crisis? - Contact the Family Support Center staff, 754-3154/2024/3294, or stop by the FSC located in Bldg 3011, directly across from the TLFs and Child Development Center. Hrs: 0745-1630 M-F
In-Processing - is conducted through the squadron assigned. Upon arrival, report to your orderly room for further instructions. One-stop in-processing is the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at 0730 in the Officer's Club.
Report to your orderly room with military records to initially in-process to the installation.
Stop by the Family Support Center staff will assist you in reporting to your unit, provide a welcome packet that includes base information and things to do in the surrounding McGuire area.
Please, neither TLF or the All American Inn accepts pets, please make arrangements for your pets at one of the local kennels. Also, the Budget Inn (609-723-4555) accepts pets for an extra fee.
