The Youth Activities Center, Building 3032, is located in the
family housing area. The McChord Youth Center offers both
planned and informal activities organized by age groups: Pre-teens and
Teenagers.
The Youth Center has a basketball/multi-purpose court, program
rooms, sports and play equipment and more. Special programs offered
at the center include the Day Camp Program, which is conducted during extended
school vacations, such as Christmas break, spring break and summer
vacation.
The Youth Center also offers leisure recreation programs, piano
lessons, martial arts classes and more. In addition, they maintain
active co-ed sports and fitness programs, such as structures league play for
baseball, T-ball, soccer and basketball.
A weekly Tots on the Move
program is offered for children 5 years and under and their parents.
