Fort Lewis, home
to the Army's I Corps and almost 30,000 soldiers and their families, is only 6
miles to the south on I-5 is also home to the Madigan Army Medical
Center. Several services and activities open to all branches of the
military are available.
Navy Bases are a bit further away but also
contribute to the military community in Western Washington.
