What is Family Advocacy?  This program is a Department of Defense initiative for the prevention, education, intervention and treatment of child physical abuse, child neglect, child sexual abuse, spouse abuse and sexual assault.  Family Advocacy on McChord is located at the Life Skills Support Center in the clinic complex.  Family Advocacy offers a variety of programs and services.

Family Advocacy Programs:

   - Parenting Support Program (0-3 years)
   - Family, couple and individual therapy
   - Crisis Intervention
   - Referrals to community resources
   - Victim Support and Advocacy

Family Advocacy Prevention Services:

   - Domestic Violence Prevention training/workshops
   - Child Abuse Prevention training/workshops
   - Parenting Classes
   - Home visits
