The Branch Dental Clinic is located in Bldg 1363, the same
building as the Medical Clinic, and can be reached by calling (904)
270-5351. Dental sick call is held daily from 0730 until
1000. Emergency treatment and routine examinations are given at this
time. Appointments are made based on the sick call examination. All
dental services are available at Mayport with the exception of
orthodontics. The Branch Dental Clinic does not serve family members
or retirees.
Emergency treatment is available at all times. A
duty dentist is at the clinic until 1630. After 1630 the dentist is
available if there is an emergent need. For after hour emergencies,
call (904) 270-5351/52/53.
The dental portion of the overseas screening
for dependents is scheduled by appointment only. The entire family is
screened during the same appointment. All personnel must have an
overseas screening form in their possession in order to be
examined. For appointments for overseas screening, call the dental

The Clinic provides dental care for
shore based active duty personnel and the personnel of ships without dental
officers. Routine dependent dental treatment is not normally
available and personnel are encouraged to utilize the Delta Dental
Plan. Information for the Delta Dental Plan can be obtained at the
Dental Clinic.
Dependents enrolled in the Delta Dental Plan are
authorized only emergency care at Mayport's dental clinic. Eligible
dependents not enrolled in the Delta Dental Plan are seen on a standby basis
only. Standby treatment is normally limited to treatment that can be completed
during one appointment and is available when scheduled appointments are not
filled by active duty personnel. Personnel desiring standby
information are encouraged to call the appointment desk for more
information.
