The Montgomery area has many shopping centers. Eastdale Mall is a
large indoor mall located on the east side of town and houses Dillard's, Sears,
Parisian and J.C. Penney with a many other speciality stores
included. Eastdale Mall also has an ice skating rink located in the
center. Montgomery Mall is located on the southeast side of town with
many specialty shops as well. The Shoppes at EastChase is a large
outdoor shopping facility and has retailers such as Williams-Sonoma, Linens and
Things, Banana Republic, Target, Dillard's, Kohls, Pier 1, and World Market.
There are numerous small outdoor shopping centers in the Tri-County area. The
Riverchase Galleria is located 60 miles north in Birmingham. Its
major Department stores include Richs, Parisian, and Dillard's with hundreds of
specialty stores as well. Three hours south of Montgomery
is the Foley Outlet Galleria. Over 300 outlet stores are
available.
The discount stores in the local area include several Super
Wal-Mart locations, SAMS Wholesale, and Target. Home improvement
stores in the area include several Lowe's and Home Depot locations.
There
are many large grocery stores in the area: Publix, Winn Dixie,
Brunos, Fresh Market, and Super Foods
