The Family Advocacy Program has a full time community health
nurse specialist to assist first time parents through the New Parent Support
Program. The specialist makes home visits and assists new parents during the
adjustment periods. The Family Advocacy Office also offers special
parenting programs on a regular basis for expecting parents, first-time parents,
and parenting programs from infants to teens.
