The Malmstrom Youth Center provides opportunities for youth to
develop their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive abilities and to
experience achievement, leadership, enjoyment, friendship, and
recognition. There is a wide variety of services and activities for
children and youth ages 5 to 18 such as: School Age Program
consisting of before and after school care and summer day camp, outdoor
adventure camps, sports leagues and fitness, instrucional classes, teen
programs, family programs and more. Special sports development
programs are also offered for ages 3 and 4. Be sure to check out the
new "Home School" programs being offered at the center. The school
age program is licensed by the Department of Defense and accredited through the
National Afterschool Association.
Youth Sponsorship helps
relocate youth to become familiar with their new home in
Montana. Sponsors are matched to youth according to their gender,
age, and interests. The sponsors escort incoming youth around the
post, school area, and the Child and Youth Program Centers. They
introduce the new arrival to others within their age/grade level and to the
various activities. Youth Sponsorship helps to build life skills and
leadership. To check out more informaiton (or request a sponsor) on
