On base:
MacDill's Commissary and Main Exchange are two of the busiest facilities on base. Peak shopping hours are 1130 - 1300. Military members in uniform and spouses of deployed members have priority in check-out lanes during peak hours at both facilities. The Commissary and Main Exchange are located at opposite ends of Bldg 926 (North Boundary Blvd) at the first and second traffic lights just inside the Dale Mabry gate
Off Base:
Shop till you drop in the Tampa Bay Area; you'll find everything from Saks Fifth Ave to upscale thrift shops and outlet malls in the area.

Hillsborough County sales tax rate is 7 percent and Pinellas County's rate is 7.5 percent.
