investigate reports of child abuse and neglect that occur in the
Hillsborough and Pinellas communities. DHC is involved with cases
involving military and civilian families. DHS, the Family Advocacy
Program, and the military and civilian law enforcement agencies work together to
protect children and ensure parents obtain the help they need.
