For the deployed, the period of family separation can be
difficult. Luke's Family Readiness Program (FRP) is designed to help make
deployment and remote assignments a little less stressful for family members.
The FRP offers many "free" programs including childcare, car care, morale calls
and monthly social activities. In addition the office stocks many books for
adults and children for this difficult period. Military members that are
departing receive a deployment briefing to help prepare for deployment/remote
assignment. At this briefing they receive a $20.00 phone
card. When they return they will receive a free gift and be eligible
to participate in return & reunion activities.
