salary you expect and the type of industry for which you are willing to
work.

housing. The unemployment rate in March 2005 was
5.6%.
According to California Labor Market occupations in Los
Angeles County with the fastest job growth are in computer
technology: computer and network support; software engineers; desktop
publishing. Top growth industries include construction, service
providing, wholesale and retail trade, transportation, real estate, professional
and business services, administrative support, health care, and leisure and
hospitality.

The Transition Assistance Program (TAP)
of the Family Support Center assists military members plan and prepare for
employment after they separate from military service. Pre-separation
appointments, a 3-day TAP class, resume and interview classes, and access to
computers/internet are offered. Members may receive assistance with
many aspects of the employment process - identifying interests and strengths,
training/education/licensing needed for particular careers, job search,
networking, etc.
