Los Angeles AFB's Family Readiness program provides assistance to spouses and family members while the military member is deployed/TDY for more than 30 days, or serving on a remote tour.  Assistance is provided through many services to include:
-  Personal and Family Readiness training
-  One-one-one appointments
-  Pre-paid phone cards
-  Hearts Apart Morale Call program
-  Video phone capability
-  Monthly newsletters
-  Give Parents a Break (child care)
-  Return and reunion education

The Family Readiness NCO also develops base plans for responding to family needs during natural disasters or local emergencies.
