Military spouse preference provides priority in the employment
selection process for military spouses who are relocating as a result of their
military spouse's PCS. Documents required to obtain spouse preference
are copies of SF-50's; SF-171, resume, or optional form; current performance
appraisal; and PCS orders.
To apply for federal jobs at Little Rock AFB,
applicants must submit an on-line application or a resume to the Air
Force Personnel Center at Randolph AFB, TX. Applicants can then check
Air Force positions at Little Rock AFB and self nominate for open positions. One
resume will be used to consider the applicant for any position the individual is
qualified for. Resumes will be accepted at any time under an open and
continuous recruitment bulletin. The resumes stay in the system for
180 days and can remain active for another 180 days if requested by the
applicant. Current permanent Air Force employees who desire
employment at Little Rock AFB should continue to utilize the Central Skills Bank
program and Career Program for consideration.
