Listed below is information for all public Elementary, Middle and
High schools in the Hampton Roads areas.
Any child who will
be 5 years old by September 30 is eligible for kindergarten. All
first-time and transfer students must provide the following documentation:
1.
Birth Certificate
2. Social Security Number
3. A physical examination
performed by a physician within a year of enrollment. Requirements
vary slighty with different school systems.
4. A series of four DPT and three
Polio Immunizations
5. Immunizations against Measles, Mumps and Rubella - one
after the first birthday and the second prior to entry into kindergarten or into
first grade, if the child has not attended kindergarten.

elementary schools offer before and after school programs.
