Newcomers can walk through the Hanford Mall and
directly across the street from the Mall is another newly builds shopping
area. You can enjoy driving along the city's roads and feel right at
home; several national retailers are here. Unique, unusual, or
locally owned shops and boutiques are clustered in the area's older, historic
sections.

Lemoore has a 1 K-Mart, and in Hanford they have 1
Wal-Mart stores, a Target store, and Ross Dress for Less. There are
several different chains of "dollar stores," located throughout the Lemoore and
Hanford. They will be breaking ground in the near future for a Super
Wal-Mart in Hanford.
Home Improvement Stores:
Orchard's and Home Depot
are 2 primary stores located in Hanford. There are also several

Grocery Stores:
There are several grocery
stores off base. Savemart, R & N, Best Deal, and Smart and Final
are most frequently used by Lemoore personnel. Visit

Fast Food:
Many of the fast food chains
are represented in Kings County. Most are located in Lemoore and
Hanford areas.
Restaurants:
There are many restaurants throughout
Kings County, both locally owned and chain or franchise
restaurants. Mexican and Asian are the 2 main categories, along with

ALCOHOL PURCHASE:
Beer and wine are sold in the grocery
stores. Beer, wine, and all other types of alcohol are sold in the
liquor stores located just outside of the city limits. Legal age to
purchase or consume any alcohol is 21 years.

in the local area is 7.25%.
