The Child Development Center (CDC) offers full time care for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age.  Child are supervised by qualified staff who receive ongoing training and provide activities that promote physical growth, motor development, thought and language development and creativity.  Fees are based on total family income.  

In an effort to provide additional child care spaces especially for the new squadrons coming onboard NAS Lemoore, the CDC has recently geared up to double its capacity from 142 children to 300 children.  This addition provides state of the art childcare for military families and their child.

The CDC comprised of a main center and two annexes located between the dental clinic and the housing office.  Built with children in mind the facility offers a safe, healthy environment and a well trained caring staff.

The CDC offers full-time care for children ages 2 months through 5 years.  Programs within the CDC are developmental in nature to meet the social, physical, emotional and cognitive needs of children.  The CDC is under USDA Child Care Food Program and serves children breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks daily.  There may be a waiting period for full-time spaces due to limited accommodations.  Call the center for waiting list information at 559-998-4918

Child Development Home (CDH) offers home based child care on a full-time basis.  Child Development Homre Care Providers are qualified professionals operating independent programs in the military and civilian housing.  The CDH Program recruits, trains, certifies and monitors Home Care Providers to provide childcare services in government quarters.  Family Child Care (FCC) providers are an extension of the Child Development Center offering a variety of childcare services to meet the unique needs of the military schedule.  FCC providers give high quality care and ensure that each child receives love, encouragement, guidance, and space to grow.  The FCC office is located in trailer 971 adjacent to the CDC.
