In-processing is done on an individual basis in the Military Personnel Flight Customer Service Office, 427 Liberty Drive, Buildingg 246. Because you cannot be paid for travel expenses until you in-process, this needs to be done as soon as possible. You must bring all personnel, medical, and financial records when in-processing.
If you get married before you PCS, you must inform your commander and follow the procedures exactly as you are given them. The military will not pay for travel and housing of your spouse if you do not follow proper procedures.
You also need to visit Pass and Registration, located in the Security Forces building, 355 Colorado Drive, Bldg 139. Your vehicle must be registered on base within 72 hours of arrival. If your vehicle is registered out of state, check with pass and registration for the laws of your state.
If arriving after hour the 24-hour arrival point is the Laughlin Manor, Building 454, located at 4th and Arnold Streets. They will assist you in securing temporary accommodations and transportation to on-base quarters. The temporary lodging facilities on base have kitchen facilities, bedroom area, private bath and other conveniences. Fees are $35.00 for all ranks regardless of the number of occupants.
Laughlin has only four "pet friendly " temporary lodging and if they are occupied you will need to make arrangements for your pets in a local community boarding facility.

a. You must obtain an AF Form 1314, Firearms Registration from your unit administration section. Complete the form, have it signed by your commander and take the form to the security Forces armory within five working days.
b. The Security Forces armory does not accept bulky gun cases. Handguns must be covered to prevent scratches. You will be provided security containers for your ammunition, but you must furnish the lock.
c. Privately-owned firearms can be transported on base only to store them in the Security Forces armory and from the armory to other authorized locations.
d. Withdraw your firearms when they are sold or when you move into on-base family housing or to quarters off base.
e. The Security Forces armory offers 24-hour access, but asks that you be patient. The Security Forces armorers are primarily patrolmen and gate guards who must be called in to open the armory.
