A variety of classes and workshops are offered monthly at the
Family Support Center (FSC). These include Job Search Orientation, Resume
Writing, Federal Job Application, and Interviewing Skills. A Computer
Resource Center and a job bulletin board are also available for your job
search.
One-on-one employment assistance is available by
appointment.
The FSC offers an Employment Assistance Orientation once a
month. This workshop is designed to assist Kirtland AFB employees and
their family members who are seeking employment in the local
area. The workshop includes focusing on a career objective, defining
your transferable skills, assessing the current Albuquerque job market, and how
to explore that marketing using the Internet.
The FSC offers
bi-annual job fairs in spring and fall. Call or stop by the FSC for
the exact dates.
